The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be well-presented and possess a positive attitude.\n\n<strong>Responsibilities:\n\n<\/strong>Guest Service: Provide excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.\r\nTable Service: Set up tables for service, including arranging tableware, glassware, and cutlery. Take orders from guests and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently.\r\nMenu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any special promotions or dietary considerations. Provide recommendations and answer any questions from guests regarding the menu.\r\nOrder Processing: Enter guest orders into the computer system accurately and transmit them to the kitchen or bar promptly. Ensure that orders are prepared and served in a timely manner.\r\nUp-selling: Promote additional food and beverage items or upgrades to guests, increasing sales revenue while enhancing their dining experience. Make appropriate suggestions based on guest preferences and dietary requirements.\r\nPayment Processing: Handle guest payments, including cash, credit cards, or electronic payment systems. Maintain accuracy in cash handling and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.\r\nCleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and well-organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, cleaning spills, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or dining space.\r\nSpecial Events and Functions: Assist in organizing and serving at special events, banquets, or private functions, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experience.\r\nTeamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure effective communication and seamless service delivery.\r\nCompliance with Policies and Regulations: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
